“We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. There were plenty of useful extras like iron, travel cot, hairdryers, plenty of toilet rolls. There was an en-suite with shower and a family bathroom too. The lounge was spacious and the tv in the lounge and bedroom had channels and internet access for using Netflix, YouTube, etc. The lodge is tastefully decorated and very cosy. The……

“This wasnt our first time staying in Sewerby but it was our first time at Oyster Cottage..... I can confidently say, it will not be our last.. Sue was great, coms before, during and after our stay were fab. The cottage itself is well situated, very well presented and spotlessly clean with a fantastic private outdoor secure garden to boot. Unlike previous places weve rented the furniture was unworn and very comfortable to use. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The two sofas provided……

“This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back ”

“The home was just as we hoped. Very clean, modern decorating, new kitchen and bathrooms, heating was warm and working well. We were allowed to bring our dogs, who had a secure back garden to play in. Nothing bad to say, the owners Steve and Carole, were wonderful and responsive. Thank you, we will be coming back!”

No problem if you are out and about most of the time but staying in might be a bit crammed. There is a small outdoor area to sit in - if you like talking to the neighbours as all chalets are close together.”

“We were visiting family in Hull for a short, unexpected while and found this flat last minute. The location was great and we easily walked pretty much everywhere we needed in Beverley itself, and the parking spot was an added bonus for our car (though it was a tight spot, our Vauxhall Corsa just about fit). The flat was well equipped with the basics, and very comfortable, and Katie was very accommodating and a delight to talk to when we had questions. Friday through Sunday night got a bit loud……

“This is our 2nd stay at the lodge and we loved it just as much as the 1st. Location is lovely and as it was colder than when we booked last time, the heating and fire were very quick to warm the lodge. Fabulous stay!!!”

I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. ”
