“Beautiful place! Good place for vacation with kids , we enjoyed 4 days of stay at Mandara tree villa with our toddlers very quiet place and fantastic view , surrounded by Himalayas mountain range.”

“Three night stay but I wish it had been longer. The property is full of character and immaculately furnished. Our room was incredibly spacious and the view from the terrace was magnificent, watching the sunset was a joy. However, the best thing of all was the service received. The entire team were wonderful. The meals were absolutely delicious (both breakfast and dinner were exquisite) and the servings very generous. Located a five minute walk from the main road, so quiet but easily accessible……

“Dinner buffet is really good. February temperature in the room with central heat was good. Hot water - plenty with central heating. Rooms are cosy and clean. Lobby, hallways not heated in the winter (story of the whole region), so you are stuck between room and restaurant. Upstairs is a nice bar on the roof top with pool table. Very quite in hotel. Nowhere to walk from it, hills are steap- in the same.time it's a great location - its peaceful . You need to take taxi to main Street and Dalai……

“The Lodge felt like it could be a great place, but couldn't be bothered. Most staff seemed bored, and not actively involved in managing the place. The description of this place sounds wonderful and passionate! It felt, at best forlorn and neglected. Did something go wrong here? ”

“Had a very pleasant 3 day stay at the Regenta Resort. Very nice property and very hospitable staff. Would recommend this hotel for a short break in Dharamsala. Since the hotel has no lifts and is located on several levels, it may not be suitable for elderly guests who may have difficulty climbing stairs.”

“This hotel has spectacular views of the valley below. It is very clean. Super friendly staff who cater to your needs wonderfully. Our stay here is truly wonderful. Everything is in walking distance. Lake Dal is only a 3 minute walk down the road. A short walk in the opposite direction allows you to see the breathtaking views of the snow capped mountain range above. Restaurant and good food available in hotel. Don’t miss this wonderful location.”

“Lovely budget hotel, tucked away in a quiet valley just outside the town. Clean enough, spacious, the staff were friendly and attentive all week. The breakfast and food were excellent. A little shop next door had decent supplies The price was reflected in bedding/towels that were absolutely fine but could do with a refresh. No midstay room clean so you sort yourself out. Main criticism is hotel pulls its shutters down at 10/10:15, sometime earlier, leaving guests stranded outside banging or……

“It is pretty and the people are nice and not intrusive. I was disappointed that they didn't have a real fridge in the room and nothing to reheat food with. But the food that they served there was really good!”
