「Nice location. Great amenities. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious but the air conditioning unit was absolutely useless. It was a very warm night and the air conditioner just did not make any difference. So did not sleep very well. The rooms are not very sound proofed so you hear every door slamming shut. The breakfast was extensive and very good with staff on hand to refill as needed.」

「The Ettington Park hotel is an extraordinary English Family Castle with a great & long history. Our stay in this hotel was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Despite belated arrival at night, we were all welcomed by their staff with thoughfully arranged dinner & wine & porter services of many bulk luggage. 「As we didn’t book direct with the hotel our evening meal wasn’t included. That wasn’t a problem as you could dine in any of the restaurants for £30 per head. Traveller’s be aware though if you didn’t want to dine in there was no other food purchase options available after 4pm. They don’t offer room service either. The grounds are extensive and it’s not possible to walk to anywhere. Take snacks with you as there is a fridge available in the room.」

「There was a pool, sauna and steam room. I went with my 12 year old and there were times kids could use these facilities (and the seating area outside the pool), these were 9-10 and 2 hours (think it was 4-6pm). Under 16s not allowed in the heat rooms. Got towels given to us at the pool to use. Overall a great stay, nice food and kid friendly.」
