“We enjoyed our stay in this property very much. We loved the location, which is very close to Alexandria and to a wonderful nature trail. The house is right on the lake, so the views were amazing from all three decks! We did notify the owners that the two twin beds on the top floor needed new mattresses, so hopefully that will be addressed. Otherwise, everything was great!”

While we originally planned for our grandkids to join us, they were unable to make it last minute. However we were very impressed with all of the toys, games and books that made our rain filled weekend enjoyable. Definitely would rent again!”

“Cottage is just as described . I had a very comfortable stay at the cottage . Very quiet cute neighborhood. Relaxed at the home and did some trail hiking close by. Checked out local shops in town and bars for music . I was here when ice was still on the lakes but this would be a great summer place to stay for the lake activities I’m sure . I would recommend to reserve for the full weekend stay including all day Sunday so you are not in a rush to leave early Sunday checkout . Enjoyed my stay……

“Tons of things within just a few miles.”

“The property was clean. There was a charcoal grill there, but the lodge had no charcoal to buy. There were no bath or dish towels. Every vrbo I have stayed at had towels in the property. We asked and the host provided them. There was a very strong chlorine smell in the tap water, so be sure to bring bottled water. Otherwise, it was good. Very friendly people and good fishing from the dock. I would stay there again.”

“We enjoyed ourselves and had to leave to a family emergency that was out of our control. Wondering about if we could get any refund due to the situation that we had. Was not able to stay our whole vacation. Pkease let me know I would appreciate that. Thank you. We plan on returning next year.”
