Fabulous stay in Big Oune

Great location, great house

Located near great park and some nice canals to kayak through nearby. Nice neighborhood too. Had to wash some kitchen pans and clean some appliances before using them. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Great location for spending a week or more in the Florida Keys

This home was located on a quite street, with great dockage on canal with quick access to channel leading to Gulf or Atlantic. Fishing and lobstering were just minutes away, so definitely bring or rent a boat. Home was nicely appointed. Grocery store and several restaurants were only a few minutes drive away. Plan on returning next year.

Very relaxing, despite Ian.

We were there as Ian passed west of Ft Jefferson. Noisy and windy, but the storm and surge were manageable. Hosts were very supportive throughout! Thanks, Janise and Ray.

Easy boat access & great location

The checkin information on VRBO was inaccurate, so check in was a bit rough. The owner was available, so the issue was resolved and there are a few cosmetic flaws in the home that will be addressed shortly. After talking with the owner and relaxing, we began to enjoy our stay and found it to be a great location with a community park close by that was great for biking. The boat ramp is fairly close and the boat dockage was convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would return again. I would give it 5 stars if the cosmetic features were repaired.

Location, Location, Location!

Every time I visit Big Pine Key, I stay at this home with friends and family. We enjoy the fabulous location for walking to the park, bicycling all around the neighborhood looking for the key deer, we visit Bahia Honda State Park since it's very close and most important Bogie Chanel is right off of the canal and no fixed bridges. We had a few manatees visit us during our stay, which was really cool to see and we also enjoyed going to No Name Pub - there were so many key deer around. And although only a 2-bedroom, the living area is quite big that we never felt overly crowded, besides there are so many different seating areas anyways. We look forward to our next stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, this home is clean and we'll kept, with a true florida keys "feel". The owners are very informative and offer some good ideas on things to do, as well as being very friendly, they even told us some of their favorite places to fish. I will definitely be back next year.

Keys rental

Good clean house, GREAT dockage and canal. Big boat no problem.Loved the well-furnished porch overlooking the canal with views of the harbor. We met a couple of neighbors and they were nice. Owner is friendly and responsive and I would definitely rent this house again. My only gripe is that the house should have been supplied a little better. I've rented a lot of houses over the years and have come to expect at least a weeks worth of trash bags, dishwashing soap and laundry detergent, coffee filters etc. Most keys houses also have a freezer downstairs since you go through lots of ice. This one did not.
