“I actually didn't end up staying here. But the guy at the front desk was so nice. Unfortunately the pool was not open due to construction and that was the only reason we were staying in a hotel. We ended up going somewhere else and I promise it was not as good as it would have been at the Hampton. Bummer for us. But I am very grateful to the guy workings kindness in letting me cancel so I could treat my kids to a swim adventure even if it wasn't with them. ”

“Family of 5 were accommodated in a room, very comfy bed, clean facilities and available parking - I would give 5, stars, except for the sofa bed that was in bad condition and uncomfortable. ”

“So, in honesty, I booked this not knowing it was a bed and breakfast… BUT it turned out to be wonderful. It is called “The Sanctuary” for good reason. Dora and Ed are wonder hosts who definitely went above and beyond for our meager overnight stay. The room was clean, the property was so peaceful. Helped my wife and I start out with a slow relaxing morning before making our way to downtown Detroit. Can’t recommend this enough to people who don’t mind a bed and breakfast. If/when we come back to……

“We had a great stay. Breakfast was excellent. They had a variety of breakfast foods. No problem parking. Service was great. The only issue was a little dust bunnies in the heater. ”
