It was the room that made this stay one of my worst hotel experiences…tiny room, everything in it was prefabricated and made of cheap plastic, and the bathroom, honestly, was a prefabricated shell of plastic that must have been craned into place. The bed was hard, pillows were hard, and didn’t get a wink of sleep due to this, and the fact room 110 was right next to lift..which made a screeching sound every time the lift or counterbalance passed by..roughly every 30 seconds…IBIS need to block this room from bookings until the lift shaft problems are resolved. Interestingly isthmus was less than £15 cheaper than the Hilton next door, where I have previously stayed, and the quality and peace were far superior there..I have leant my lesson now.
