我入住了7天,認為酒店雖然沒有華麗的大堂,但整體的質素及服務是非常高。包括親切及有善的員工,房間向運河景色優美,清潔整齊的房間及大堂,早餐款式少但質量高,房間有Sky TV,步行到火車站及市中心只需八分鐘,處理問題迅速,我反映洗手盆去水慢,二小內已完全處理好。唯一的缺點是在晚間樓下的酒吧及食肆比較人多聲音有少少嘈,特別是在週末晚。 這是值得推介的酒店。

Modern and nice hotel
However it is not accessible when you are not familiar with the area. The hotel actually is next to Mail Box the landmark and you could go through the Mailbox to get to the hotel. But we used google to search the place and arrived at the back door. We rang the bell and no one ever answered so we had to walk to another way to find the main reception. It will be better if the hotel people could give us some clear instructions to the hotel before we came, We booked a canal view room but we couldn’t see it as the room is at the far end of the canal.

Reception just seemed a bit offish. Gym pretty limited the safe didn’t work though that got put right on day 2 and I was offered to change rooms but I had already unpacked. The TV only had terrestrial stations so the signal wasn’t great and not many to choose from. Breakfast was ok but the coffee was probably the worst I’ve tasted! I did actually manage to enjoy my stay and most of the staff were great, but I come up to Birmingham once a year and I won’t be staying here again.

i've stayed at the ac many of times service is like none other staff are incredibly welcoming warm and friendly people with genuine love for there job and travelers, rooms with canal views are stunning at sunset and sunrise aswell as sitting there watching the boats go up and down, beds are really comfy and soft with super comfy pillows theres plenty of food and drink options at the bar as well as above and below the property being conveniently having restaurants and bars above and below the property overall the stay is worth every penny will be back in a few months to stay again

Very good for the price but pillows were not good and the breakfast was very poor. We ordered eggs before we made coffee and then when and got our breakfast =. Finished our breakfast and coffee and there was no sight of the eggs so left

Would stay again… but.
Great location at The Mailbox. Easy to park and an excellent room overlooking the canal. Only issue to mention was the poor quality mattress on the bed. Springs noisy everytime you moved around on it. Not worth having it changed for a 1 night stay so mentioned to reception at checkout who said they’d mention to housekeeping. Overall, very nice place… usually a Malmaison regular but would stay at AC Marriott again.

King Bed Mirage
Hotel was in a good location. I reserved a king bed for my wife and I. This was two twins pushed together. Not exactly a comfortable bed. Property was clean and staff was helpful.

Didn’t like anything except for the breakfast. Entrance to the hotel seems like the entrance to a usual residence, very unwelcoming. Apparently you could order some food for dinner but noone would answer the phone. Window could not open and the air was not pleasant. Sink was not draining properly etc. etc. Breakfast was excellent .

Upgraded to a sofa bed
The front of house were amazing, so friendly and attentative. However, they said they upgraded out twin room to a delux twin queen bed room. One bed of which was a sofa bed. This was super uncomfortable, rally springy and you had to be really careful how you got and and out of the bed or where you sat. This wasnt what i paid for and wouldve happily not had such upgrade.

Utilita Arena stay over.
We had a lovely stay at the hotel, we were attending a show at the Utilita Arena Birmingham and the hotel location could not have been better. Very friendly and courteous staff.our only small issue would be that the room felt cold, even with the room thermostat turned up.

Shame about the breakfast
Our stay at the hotel was generally pleasant, thanks to the excellent reception staff and the cleanliness and comfort of our room. However, we encountered some issues during breakfast. The restaurant was understaffed, with only one person managing all the service. We faced difficulties such as a malfunctioning coffee machine, and essentials like sugar and butter running out without being refilled. It was challenging to place our order as we had to actively seek the waitress’s attention. Additionally, the dish we received did not match its description, and we were advised to modify it ourselves using buffet items, which was impractical. When I expressed these concerns to the waitress, her response lacked an apology and focused on the challenges of managing the service single-handedly during a busy period. I believe these areas could greatly benefit from attention and improvement.
