“Huggins Cottage is one of the loveliest places we've stayed, and by far the best cared for. We were made to feel welcome every step of the way, from booking to leaving. Very thoughtfully equipped kitchen, and house generally, with very comfortable beds. Bookshelves included a wealth of information about the area. “Quarry House was an amazing venue for our extended family Christmas celebration. We had 12 people from 9-74 and a dog and all had a great time. The house looked beautiful all lit up and decorated. We particularly appreciated the amazingly well equipped kitchen. There was nothing at all that we missed even down to spare batteries. There were clear instructions on how to operate everything and helpful local information. We enjoyed walks in the woods, soaking in the hot tub and warming up in front……

“Ideal for a break for two persons, Nuthatch Cottage is a warm, comfortable and well equipped accommodation in a charming situation. Behind the cottage is a small stream with a weir and a view over a meadow occupied by sheep. The host is friendly and on hand to deal with any queries the tenants may have.”

“Stayed for a long weekend with a partner and dog. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and provided daily walks and info which was really helpful! Beautiful spot and super dog friendly, with dog washing facilities as well as complimentary sausage for your dog at breakfast and doggy box in the room on arrival provided towels / dog blankets and bowl. We will definitely stay again! ”

“One night stay at the property. It was in a nice area and grounds. The room was adequate, bed was comfortable. Wardrobe doors were broken. Shower wasn’t the best at all. Facilities were good, Enjoyed the gym and sauna / ice room (no ice in there tho, just a cold shower) Breakfast was good. Upon check out I asked the lady on reception about the £50 fee they took from me as a holding fee, she said that she was processing them that day, so I expected it to be returned within a couple of days.……
