“I stayed there for vacation with my two young children and I had to upgrade my room to a bigger room with a small kitchen. Although it was a little more expensive it was worth it because you have a full refrigerator and a place to eat. We really enjoyed the hospitality of the property manager. We also really enjoyed saying there it was in walking distance to everything.”

“Great efficiency apartment in a six-unit building. It is steps from the beach, boardwalk and town center. Four steps up from the ground level to enter the property. The murphy bed is comfortable! Cute kitchenette, we didn't use it because we were surrounded by restaurants.”

“This little gem was in the BEST location for us. Early morning sunrise was half a block away from a pristine beach! Step right outside to hop on the OC bus which takes you in and out of all the action. The studio apt was very clean and had EVERYTHING we needed, including a FULL kitchen, washer and dryer, beach chairs and umbrella! The bed was comfy, the wifi worked perfectly and we loved sitting out of the deck. The owner was extremely nice, answered back within a few minutes with each question,……

“When we arrived, we were able to park in the covered garage and immediately go up to our condo. We had plenty of space to unpack and set up comfortably. The balcony area has a wonderful view of the ocean and always has a nice breeze. The condo was clean and sufficient for our needs. Thank you Darlene for letting us use your condo. We will be back soon!”

“This condo was the perfect size for my group of friends! It was clean and well-kept. The only complaint I have is that there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms, which I believed to be provided for us. Also, if you are planning to be out of the condo and come back late at night, be wary of high tide. There were several times where my friends and I had to wade through almost a foot of water to reach our condo after a night out. Overall a nice, clean condo that provided us a good amount of……

“We had the upstairs apartment in the back of the main house. It was very clean and comfortable.very easy check in and out with the homeowner It has a beautiful courtyard with plenty of outdoor space for a quiet night just sitting around with friends. Very close to the beach and the boardwalk and some really nice restaurants. Would highly recommend this place to family and friends or even another long weekend trip.”

“This is one of the best places for off season renting. It"s quiet yet right on the beach so you can hear the waves. It was raining almost the whole time but we still had a great visit. Beds were very comfy and that is very important to me. The bathrooms were clean and updated. Kitchen was ok with an older coffee pot and sparse dishes,silverware. Lots of pots and pans. So, I'd say replace to coffee pot with a new one or Keurig and just an extra set of plates and silverware. We will be re-renting……

“There were no heat in the property Hot water was on and off. Needed to change room to get hot water. Property manager gave heaters but when turn both at the same time they did not work properly. ”

“Loved staying at Star of the Sea, great location, gorgeous ocean views. Parked the car in the basement garage and never moved it the whole trip. Everything we wanted was within walking distance. Condo was well stocked with necessities, and the new furniture was very comfortable! Would definitely recommend, just be aware that you must bring your own sheets and towels. Thanks for a great stay!”

“We stayed in one of the majestic apartments. I liked how it was an apartment, but it wasn't like dealing with a rental company. It was dealing with a hotel company. It was very simple and easy to get set up. We were lucky enough to get one of the apartments that was detached a block away. So it was a lot more quiet. The property is definitely dated, if you're looking for some modern place this is not it. With that being said though it was very clean. Which I'm not going there to stay in a hotel……
