Wonderful cabin. I stayed here with my college age daughters. The house was comfortable with amazing views. The sunsets were amazing. We really enjoyed the nearby town of Nederland and there was a lot to do in the area. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful place and location. You absolutely need a good vehicle with 4WD to get the hill, but worth it. We had a wonderful trip.

Great place!

Overall, wonderful place to stay especially for a family with two toddlers! Only rated it 4 stars because hot tub was suppose to be working but wasn’t.

Wonderful property and absolutely loved the mountain sunset views! The hot tub was underfilled and over-chlorinated. Nearby town of Nederland was charming. Would certainly rent again.

Nice Mountain Cabin

This was a nice cabin we stayed in that had plenty of room for 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 kids. Very peaceful setting with glorious mountain views and a nice scenic ride from Denver. Took us about 45-50 minutes to get into Denver from the cabin and one day we went a different route through Black Hawk and Central City which was nice as well. We would definitely consider staying here again if we were in the area.

This property has breathtaking views and so much space! It is perfect for any family get together or family get away! The owners were amazing to work with and went above expectations!! Definitely a must for families!!!

Great nature stay with friends

Had an awesome week exploring the mountains in Black Hawk at this property. It’s truly so spacious and has the most stunning views. I’d definitely stay again!

Nice mountain getaway

LARGE PROPERTY GREAT LOCATION

We really enjoyed the cabin. The owners communicated very well and were great at suggestions. The home has LARGE rooms and the kitchen was well stocked. The views were amazing and the location was perfect for all our activities. We would stay again.

Boulder Climbing Trip

Brilliant property, superb location just a few miles from Nederland …. the Very Nice Brewing Company and Crosscut Pizzeria were both fantastic and hospitable. Great for climbing in Boulder Canyon, the Flatirons and Elderado Canyon. All round a top top place ❤️

Everything was just as described. Plenty or room for our family of 5. Great location, great cabin, incredible views. We even saw a moose in the yard on our last morning. Strongly recommend.

The best cabin yet

We go on yearly trips to this area and have stayed in a few different spots and I can honestly say this was the best cabin. The views, the updates, and the location could not have been better for us. Amazing Mountain View’s

If you want to go out in the mountains and find your soul, this is the place to do it! Breathtaking views of the mountains with amazing sunrises and sunsets. Cabin is exactly what you want to get away from the bustle of everyday life.

Great cabin

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. The house was more spacious than what we thought. It was nice to have TVs in each room for the kids at night. We also enjoyed the game room. Only issue we had was with the excessive chemical smell when the hot tub jets turned on, so we just didn’t run them. Overall, this house had great views and made for a great trip.

Beautiful Views!

This cabin was perfect for our family vacation this summer. Our 3 boys loved the game room downstairs. The bedrooms were really nice and comfortable. But the best part were the views. Waking up and looking out the window of the master bedroom right at mountains was a highlight. The views from the deck and the hot tub were also incredible. Phillip was also accessible and helpful when needed.

Great and beautiful stay

We stayed at week at the Lilly Pad and enjoyed our time there. The kids loved the ping pong and air hockey in the basement. The view of the mountains was nice and relaxing. Rooms were nice size, though one room had a really low bed but it worked. All kitchen supplies needed for cooking were there. We saw a deer, lots of chipmunks and birds and saw a moose nearby but on another road. The only issue we had was the window coverings are sheer and the sun rises super early (well before 6) so sleeping in or even until 7 was difficult for some. The driveway is quite steep but we were able to make it up and turn around with a large 12 passenger van. It does take a while to get to nearby towns or do day trips but it’s still beautiful views along the way. I would recommend this cabin for a true, rustic Colorado mountain stay.

Beautiful views

This place was wonderful for our family to spend Thanksgiving. The views are amazing. It was very clean and had everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving meal. There was plenty of room for all of us and lots to do. The hot tub was nice but did have a little too much chlorine in it. Negatives- The beds are not the most comfortable. There wasn’t enough seating for us in the living room. We had a lot of snow which made it difficult to access the building where the trash goes. The pilot light was out on the fireplace and we couldn’t find a lighter anywhere. We happened to have some matches in our car thankfully.

Peaceful Mountain Getaway

This place in Black Hawk is nice. Far enough from the highway to be secluded and quiet, but close enough to be convenient. The drives to Nederland and various recreation areas weren’t long, and the property has good views of the forest and Rockies from windows and the deck. (The cabin is up a steep, unpaved road so an all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended if the weather is wet or snowy.) The cabin isn’t fancy (it’s a cabin after all), but it’s clean and comfortable, with a well-appointed kitchen and a nice fireplace for cold-weather stays. The walk-out basement has a spacious game room with fun games and even some toys for little ones. Wifi has good service and the TV is streaming-ready. One thing to bear in mind is that the cabin is out of range for cellular coverage, at least for Verizon. We had a very nice stay and would definitely stay there again.

Good stay.

The TV remote in the master bedroom doesn’t work. It’s not the batteries . Put new batteries in. It won’t let us pick a network. All 3 other TVs worked great. Enjoyed place . Spa cover very heavy. Water soaked. Could use more outdoor furniture so could sit outdoors on porch and enjoy nature . Only two chairs on porch. Bird feeder need’s filled. Birds come every morning for food.Thank you.
