This facility offers truly beautiful surroundings and impressive views, creating an environment with strong potential. However, the property would benefit from targeted investment to address several infrastructure issues that affect the overall guest experience. I hesitated to provide this feedback because the staff were exceptionally courteous, attentive, and consistently went out of their way to accommodate us. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality stood out. Despite the facility’s current limitations, the quality of service and the overall atmosphere were positive enough that I would choose to return.

It is sad to see where Mt Irvine is at. A once vibrant hotel it’s now like a ghost town. No one there. No vibrancy. Water available for a few hours per day, no appealing meals. The entire hotel needs a lift in appearance but it is clear that its potential is still there. Hard to recommend the hotel in its current form. I was disappointed.

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I arrived around 6 PM and almost everything was already closed, which was frustrating after a long day of traveling. The gift shop was supposed to open the next day, but it never did, leaving guests with no place to even grab basic necessities. The food was honestly terrible and the menu options were extremely limited. On top of that, most of the staff outside of the front desk were not helpful or welcoming at all. The front desk employees were the only positive part of the experience. What shocked me most was that I couldn’t even get a simple glass of water at the resort. There was no water provided in the room, and I actually had to leave the property just to buy water elsewhere. For a resort, that level of service is unacceptable. Overall, the experience did not match the expectations or price, and I would not stay here again.

Overall I probably won’t stay at this hotel again. Everything I wanted I had to get myself at the reception (towels…etc). The staff was lukewarm at best. Not that friendly. Additionally, while the property obviously was amazing in its day, it’s a little dated, and not well maintained. The main areas seemed deserted, and we only saw a handful of guests during our stay there. The best part of our stay was the beach. It was amazing. The water was serene and clean. Not crowded. As a member of the hotel you were provided a chair (no towels). There was a bar that opened later in the morning, and food was prepared at the canteen. The location is perfect.

This hotel was terrible. First, the toilet seat was not fastened properly and it kept slipping off the toilet. The tv was not working, when it was on the screen showed a box stating “weak signal “. The tiles on the pathway to the beach was full of moss and slippery. The room had a musty odor and the room was not cleaned for the duration of our stay. When we reported the problem with the tv, the front desk replied that there was no one available to check it out because it was the weekend. However, we had breakfast at the hotel and it was very good. They also found a rental car for us even though it was a holiday weekend.

There needs to be many improvements. The rooms were okay but no regular housekeeping occurred and tv service/wi-fi did not work. Staff were friendly but there was not nearly enough staff and you could tell it was very hard for them to keep up with basic services. The pool was nice but there was never a bartender at the swim up bar so hard to enjoy it for too long. I could tell that this was once a beautiful resort but it is falling apart. So sad to see. Unfortunately, unless there were major improvements made, I would not stay at Mt. Irvine again and would not recommend it to others.
