“Unfortunately my family's five day stay was a terrible experience. The hotel is very run down and poorly maintained. And there were issues from the time we arrived. The biggest problem was mosquitoes in and outside our room. I complained to the young receptionist and her first response was very disappointing. I was told that there were some "very important people" including judges expected to arrive and we might not be able to switch rooms. Advice to the young lady: never make a guest feel like……

“Check in experience was horrific, we had our confirmation and was told that it was cancelled. I went thru emails and the Expedia app showing my paid confirmation and they could not find our names. It took awhile for them to look into the matter to figure out what was the issue. I was so pissed knowing we had a long flight and just wanted to check in and relax but instead it became very stressful Place was clean and the room had a lot of amenities”

“The overall vibe of Sandy Point Village is warm, relaxing, and welcoming, with a beautiful, well-maintained pool and friendly staff. We stayed in the Loft and received just one room key for a door that locked but couldn't close completely. The safety chain on the front door didn't have a hook for securement. The shower area lacked a soap holder, and missing or burnt-out bulbs were not replaced. Our stay was only adequate; the room needs upgrades for guest comfort, and a microwave should be……
