Bring your family and friends. Enjoy a farm experience and relaxed countryside setting or hike to the top of the mountain. Enjoy the views and tranquility. There is wifi: 100 mb/s. We do not have regular cell phone service here in this area. And remember, when the electricity is out, every thing is out! (Does not happen often, but it can happen!)

Unwind in your own whole house five bedroom three bathroom dwelling on the in the side of the valley. Two car garage, fire place, and ping pong tables.
Relax and rest, you earned it, now enjoy it. AND, if you come in the fall, the leaves are spectacular here - and you do not have to fight the crowds in the Smokie Mountain tourist traps!

This is as country as it gets. This is a quiet valley in the Appalachian mountains. Hike up Powell mountain. Stop at the pond and fish for a while. Relax on the top of Powell mountain, breathe the fresh air, enjoy nature, stare at the amazing views from the top of the mountain. Hike down, then do it again tomorrow.

No public transit. Just small country roads. Drive slowly and keep right. Wave at the neighbors.
The trail to the top of Powell mountain is approximately 1 mile long one way and 1000 ft high in elevation. Check with host before hiking.

There are farming activity taking place below in the valley. Please observe from the porch.
