Family holiday

We have previously stayed at this property & loved it. Fantastic views, great location. For a family stay the cutlery & crockery was okay but the cooking utensils were inadequate for a family of 6 people. The property also requires some maintenance & repairs Carpet had some stains, sliding doors were not easy to open & close, vertical blinds were falling off & needing updated,, Doors not closing and screens broken. Also there was only 5 chairs @ the dining table and we booked for 6 guests. Above all we had a lovely stay.

Premium price, great location but absolutely disappointing in terms of cleanliness and maintenance

Main Bedroom: Fan not functional due to corroded battery in controller Curtain rod has no end so when opening the curtain falls off the rod (plus the plastic lugs are all breaking due to age One of the vertical blinds is missing Dirty and stained carpets 2nd Bedroom Ven blinds covered in dirt Stained carpets Stairs / Stairwell Carpets hideously stained, to a point you should ask tenants to wear shoes inside to avoid disease 3rd Bedroom Carpets dirty Ven Blinds broken and missing in places Kitchen We were wondering what the smell was ... on checking we had removed everything I found a bag of very rotten potatoes in the cupboard .... I left them there so you can ask your cleaning staff if they actually clean... Balconies / Windows / Screens All balconies were putrid, I understand we have dust / ash issues but if someone is renting a property these areas should at least be serviceable Windows and screens were well due for a clean, even opening the windows the amount of accumulated dirt is hideous
