- Lazy Creek Cabin is a couples getaway with a great mountain view. The log cabin is located on a 165 acre farm between Roanoke (15 miles) and Lynchburg (30 miles) and close to Smith Mountain Lake. So leave your worries, pets and children at home and bring your spouse for a relaxing stay at Lazy Creek Cabin. Spend time in the hot tub or in the rockers on the front porch enjoying the view of the Peaks of Otter.

This was a perfect getaway for rest and relaxation. The property is beautiful and the cabin was so clean and inviting. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and reading in the rocking chairs on the front porch. We had everything we needed and the hosts were very attentive and easy to reach if we had questions.

This was our second stay at the cabin and it wad just as great as our first stay. Jane and Jim have truly created a little piece of heaven with the cabin. We will return again!

Lazy Creek Cabin is a wonderful place to stay! The hosts are marvelous! Everything was sparkling clean. The property is beautiful, so serene, like a piece of heaven on earth. This cabin is the perfect couples getaway! It is furnished beautifully and very clean. The jacuzzi is awesome! And if you love to fish, you’ll appreciate the stocked pond! The hosts are super! We enjoyed our stay in your lovely cabin during our visit for our daughter's graduation at Liberty University.. It was the perfect distance to drive to be away of all the heavy traffic during graduation. The property is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. We hope to return someday.

We had the best time staying here! We loved the hot tub and enjoyed watching DVDs that we found at the thrift! The whole cabin felt like stepping back in time, it was classic, simple, and reminder to take it easy and cuddle! We also loved having a kenny burger at Dale's!

Truly the consummate couple's retreat. Jane was very thoughtful in preparing the place; she was equally available and easy to communicate with. The quiet immersion into nature on their lovely farm was a true respite to the soul. We cannot thank Jim and Jane enough for making this available. We treasure the thought of returning again!

We can’t say enough good things about this property. Everything was spotless; communication was great; kitchen well stocked; hot tub and grill were nice and clean. We missed WiFi, but the host informed us that there is no WiFi, but that cell service was great, and we were able to use our phones as hotspots for all the streaming we needed. The host lives on the property (but not within sight of the cabin, so you feel totally private) and stopped by as we were packing up just to make sure everything was good, and it was. If this is what you’re looking for, look no further!
