“We were in town looking at properties. The apartment was super cute and suited us just fine. Morgan has the apartment decorated nicely and it was clean. I was a little surprised to see the steep steps that lead to the apartment….it probably mentioned it in the description, but I overlooked it. Folks need to be aware that there are steps that lead up to the apartment. We enjoyed walking thru the neighborhood. There is a great park right down the road where we walked our pup. “We visited the area to do some fishing at Philpott Lake and some much needed time away from work. Once arriving to the Barnhouse we were greated by the chickens. That is when we realized our stay was going to be great. Then we entered the Barnhouse and it was perfect. Not much else I can say.. You just have to experience it for yourself. Thank you again for being such great hosts.”

“There was some confusion about pet fees at booking. It is $50 PER pet even if only one is charged at booking. I think this is resonable, I just wasn't expecting to have an additonal fee after already paying one. There was some anxiety after booking while I was waiting to hear back to hear how much would be added to my cost on my non-refundable booking. I wish it would have been outlined in the listing. The property was clean and comfortable. The house was VERY well stocked with essentials and……

“I enjoyed staying at the Early Inn so much! Brian was a wonderful host. The room was beautiful and took me back in time! It was in walking distance of several places including The Harvestor where we saw the show. There was a great restaurant The Rocky Mount Burger Company! So much more. I highly recommend The Early Inn. ”
