Beautiful South Harbor Home with Great Ocean Views Point View House

Experience a light-filled and spacious 5StarVR vacation rental in Bodega Harbour, boasting captivating views of the ocean, rolling hills, and pastures. This home offers some of the most picturesque views in the South Harbour neighborhood. The open living space is bathed in natural light and features a large kitchen, ample dining area, and a spacious yet cozy living room. The master bedroom, with its king-size bed, provides stunning views and a private deck. The master bath includes a large soaking tub, stall shower, and two sinks. The second upstairs bedroom also boasts a king bed. Additionally, there are two large bedrooms downstairs—one with a queen bed and the other with full-size bunk beds and a queen bed, providing comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to six children.

Visit our 5StarVR site for details on personal chefs, caterers, massages, yoga instructors, and personal trainers. Our vacation rentals are fully stocked with essential cookware, dinnerware, and consumable supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, bath, dish, hand, and laundry soaps, as well as various trash bags. Luxurious linens are also provided. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors.

While this property is an ideal space for family and friends to gather, it is NOT a party house. Outdoor amplified music is not allowed in County vacation rentals. Surveillance cameras and decibel meters monitor parking areas and noise levels. County quiet hours are observed between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Groups found in violation of these rules may face eviction, substantial fines, and potential legal action.

Very nice house with great views and location. Great for hiking. The well-equipped kitchen was perfect for making our Thanksgiving dinner. We were quite comfortable in this large but cozy home. Bring your own ping pong balls!

Everything was great, The house was clean and had all the ameneties you would possibly need. The host was very accomendatng to anything we needed, wish our stay was longer.Our only wish was that the jets in the master bathroom was turned on. Hopefully we will be back next year. :)

Everything in this house was perfect to host a weekend away for a large group! We ended up having 8 adults, but this place could've easily slept more. The dining room set up was perfect for group meals and board games, and the outdoor fire pit table was a hit for watching the sunset. Thanks for having us!

Very nice large house, it fit my family of seven (three children) perfectly. We spent most of the days down at Bodega Dunes State Park, about a fifteen minute drive from the house. Local shopping was about ten minutes away in town. The house is perched pretty high up a hillside, which gives it a great view of the ocean and the rolling hills to the south. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well appointed with dishes, glasses, pots and pans. All in all, we loved the place.

We definitely enjoyed staying at this home.We enjoyed being able to gather with the open kitchen, dining area and living area. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. It had a wonderful view of the ocean. One thing that we noticed was, it was pretty warm on the main level of the home when the sun was out. The sliding glass doors did not have screens which made it difficult to cool the house without using the air-conditioner. We would have preferred to keep the sliding doors open without having flies come in. I would also recommend a new washing machine or have the current one really cleaned. The laundry room gave off a moldy sour smell so we kept the door closed. Other than those few things, we had a great family getaway.

Overall we had a great time. The kitchen is well stocked. The bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries. Very large house which was nice which left plenty of room for the entire family. Peaceful neighborhood as well. Great views with lots of wildlife including deer’s and rabbits.

The views were nice, but the property needs some loving care from the owners. The floors were very dirty, and the instructions for the TVs were outdated. There were cobwebs in the bathroom and mildew in the washer. Also, the house needs better pillows in the bedrooms. The house, however, was well-stocked with cookware and tableware. And when we called about these things, Cheryl was very helpful in getting someone over right away to clean the floors, so that was a good thing. And Seth was very helpful in getting the TVs to work. We've stayed at many homes in the South Harbor area throughout the years, but this was one of the least better experiences.

The house had everything we needed. It was a bit difficult taking our small dogs out as there aren't many places for dogs to potty. Our family had plenty of room.

Spacious House with Great Views

Stairs to the front door are a little steep, but luckily this house allows access to the garage, which helped tremendously! My Dad, who is 81, was able to go up the two small flights of stairs inside the home just fine. House layout was great- my husband and I stayed downstairs with our kids and my parents and brother stayed in the upstairs rooms. Loved the open floor plan and all the windows! The outside balcony/patio was small, but worked out fine for all 7 of us. The couches are in need of replacing- they are a little worn and hard to get out of for some people. Kitchen had everything you needed, although I would suggest replacing some items- spatulas, can opener (it was rusty), cookie sheets. Also, the dishwasher "wobbled forward" and needs to be bolted in better. Be aware that there is not a pantry for your dry goods. We had to make our own space in a couple of the cabinets. Maybe the owners could add a small pantry cabinet somewhere in the dining room area. Either that or re-organize the cabinets to provide some empty space for food. Overall, the house was pretty clean, check in/out was simple (they don't make you do a bunch of "check out chores"), and the views and neighborhood were great!

Book club getaway!

The house was perfect for our stay. It was clean and had plenty of amenities. For 8 of us, we could have used another bathroom with a shower but that was it. Kitchen was well stocked which was important because we all love to cook. The views were amazing even though we were socked in with fog all weekend.Wish it had a hot tub! But we'll be back to this one for sure.

Family holiday vacay

The house was fully equipped with everything we needed to make amazing meals and have a comfortable stay. The views from the main floor are amazing. There are many hiking opportunities within the neighborhood and the golf course nearby was a hit with our golfers. I would recommend this property.

Comfortable

Comfortable stay. Nice spot and great view of sunset and the water. It’s unfortunate that even paying and renting out a home in the neighborhood, we got asked to leave off the property closet to the cliff where it’s just an open grassy space…we were just sitting enjoying the sunset and the security came up to us and asked us to leave and said the space is only for homeowners. Other than that it was a good stay.

Stunning Views

4 families get together every year coming from all over Cali and out of state. This house perfectly accommodated us! The games in the garage were wonderful for the kids. The table let us all eat together and the layout of the house was perfect! The close proximity to the beach was also a plus!

Family weekend at the beach

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend with our 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren ( ages 2 and 5). We love the location; being close to the trailhead for short tail gulch was great…! We went down to the beach a couple times each day; the tide pools were incredible!! Being able to walk from cove to cove at low tide was perfect!! The house worked very well for us… the outside table got lots of use!!! Great for both morning coffee and dinner in the evenings. Good floor plan in general!! Thank you!
