We had such a lovely time staying at High View. Kate was a welcoming host, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was very well equipped and beautifully decorated. Perfect size for two people. It is nested in a lovely little courtyard surrounded by Kate's other cottages in Saint Breward, a nice little town with a pub/ restaurant and post office should you need any bread and other bits. Would have given 10/10 but my partner didn't find the bed too comfy (definitely personal preference as I found it extremely comfy!!) Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Myself and my husband had a wonderful stay at High View.

Myself and my husband had a wonderful stay at High View. Kate was very welcoming, and met us when we arrived after the drive down. The cottage itself has everything you need for your stay and has a great courtyard garden that is a sun trap! The village itself is in a great location and has a wonderful pub and shop only a 5 min walk away. I would certainly recommend High View to any couple who want to visit this part of Cornwall. As you have the moor right on your doorstep with great walks, and villages such as Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Issac only a short drive away. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a fabulous holiday with our two dogs.

We had a fabulous holiday with our two dogs. There was a tiny little garden which was very useful for the dogs and a lovely place to sit with a cup of coffee overlooking a field and so quiet. The owner, Kate, was very welcoming. The situation was excellent within easy walking distance of the shop and pub, on the edge of Bodmin Moor and a fairly short drive to the beach. Nearly all the pubs are dog friendly. We would definitely book again.

As we had 2 small dogs, could have done with a bit of garden for them. The kitchen is TINY, but equipped well enough just for 2 of us. Logs for fire handy as cold in the evenings, probably due to thick stone walls. Shower lush.
