“The housekeeping staff stood right outside my door Sunday morning at 8 am very loudly. Woke me up. I wasn’t sleeping very well so it seemed like I got zero sleep. Problem is when I complained, nothing changed. They stayed talking in the hallway for about 30 mins. Not normal for Hilton brand. ”

“This is a really nice independent hotel with a lot of charm. The location is great and the views are wonderful. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. We have stayed twice and will try and stay here every time we visit. If they had a food option on site, this would be amazing, but the town is a short golf cart ride away. Highly recommend for any stay in Southport. ”

“The hotel was nice, but not up to the expected standards. There was only one elevator working, the breakfast was fair, the pillows were miniature, and the A/C was noisy. Theses are minor, I know, but somewhat agravating. The guest, (which was not your fault, were slaming doors until 2AM.”

“Beautiful room, looks brand new and was nicely appointed with very nice furniture. The fridge was retro and cute, bed was very comfortable. Some dustier floors than I would have liked but sometimes this is to be expected in beachy environments. This was nothing major, overall the room was lovely and comfortable and I would recommend this as a great place to stay. ”

“So many postiives to write here. 1-the location is superb. One block from the water and a couple of blocks walk to some of the best restaurants in town. The Oyster bar was so good we visited twice. 2- The B and B is perfect. A very warm host who instantly made you feel at home. There is a happy hour with draft beer every day! 3- The room is perfectly spacious, immaculately clean 4- Whatever you need, the host will provide. I wouldnt recommend this place for families, but for couples its……

“The room is clean, but the soundproofing is very poor—you can hear people chatting in the next room very clearly. Those who have trouble sleeping should be especially aware that the refrigerator is very loud. Since it’s a freezer model, there’s a loud gushing sound every ten or so seconds. Even if you unplug the refrigerator, the noise won’t stop immediately; it won’t stop until the freezer compartment returns to room temperature.”

“Nicole was very helpful when fixing our keys when they wouldn’t work! Any time she would see us out and about she would ask if we needed anything! Very polite and courteous! Would stay here again! It was an awesome to have a place for our service animal to go and hang out! (as well as others who have pets) very pet accommodating! ”

“Choosing a facility with a kitchen allowed us to book a oceanside unit. The kitchen had the basic cookware and dinnerware. However, a few other useful items, a toaster, aerving bowl and basic knife would've made meal prep a little better.”
