Bokrijk Open Air Museum

Bokrijk is an open-air museum in Belgium that offers entertainment for young and old alike.

The Belgian Percherons are beautiful. There are many other live animals and people enacting in period costume. There was a live church service in the small chapel onsite. It was not in English; however, our relatives translated the jist of what was going on. People were quite amused at the priest as he seemed to have a good sense of humour.

There are live demonstrations from bread making to how the old windmill used to operate.
