“Tammy, the assistant inn keeper and restaurant manager was fantastic. She was attentive to every need. The restaurant staff was phenomenal as well highly recommend, it’s a little hidden gem off the beaten path. I will definitely return. Had a fabulous time.”

“Good location for a quiet place. This is an okay summer stop. No AC on a hot June day was hard as well as it was very buggy inside the windowsills. I realize it is more of a rustic, true Vermont lodge idea just wanted people to be aware. I am sure in the fall and winter when it is busier it is a completely different location.”

“We booked this hotel as a half way point on our way to Niagara Falls. From the moment we checked in the staff we incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the amenities were nice. My family enjoyed swimming in the pool. It’s near a chilis which was nice to stop and have dinner. If ever in the area again we would stay again!”

“The place was well located and cool vibe. The big problem for me was the strong mildew smell. They desperately need a dehumidification system in the rooms. I thought I would get used to it but every time I woke up during the night I smelled it. When I returned home I smelled my PJ’s before putting them in the wash and they smelled mildew ish.”

“I do not normally give a mediocre review but I had to in this case. The view was great and the room had been redecorated not that long ago I feel but the bed had to be decades old. We got very poor sleep as the bed was sunken in in the middle into a big valley it wasn’t anything the front desk could have solved. So on our second night we put one of the pillows between us so we didn’t roll to the middle ( we are not heavy people either ) and we slept a little better. It also was very hard. ……
