Lower expectations
The first unit we stayed checking into had mold and I told them I was not staying in that unit. They moved me to another one and a miscommunication happened, where I ended up in a different one, someone else walked into that I guess it was also supposed to be their room like I said there was a miscommunication following that incident. The property manager knocked once and barged in unannounced and did not introduce himself following that incident. Continued to stand in my door way questioning me for almost 10 minutes - still without introducing himself. I also found a pill on the floor. The shower water would only get scalding hot or be freezing cold; the vacuum was broken and I could not use that to help clean up before I left. I was only supplied one trash bag. The second unit I was in had mold in the freezer as well. Idk they tried, I got a bunch of messages like a ton of messages from the property managers during my stay almost like they were kissing my butt for the mold incident and barging in unannounced. I am a single mom and work my butt off, also full time in college and I was really looking forward to a VACATION, this was less than luxury and I’m pretty disappointed. Location wasn’t bad but I would’ve rather had a little drive and a smoother less moldy experience …
