"Red Cedar HideAway was the best VRBO I’ve ever rented. The setting, the house, the extra amenities, and the hosts, Cassie and Jeff, helped make our trip to Crescent Head extra special. The house felt like home away from home with everything I could have needed. We really enjoyed the bbq and eating our meals on the back deck surrounded by the lush greenery. We had one rainy day, and after venturing out in the rain for a bit, we warmed up for a couple of hours in the cozy living room. Cassie and Jeff go above and beyond as hosts starting with plenty of communication leading up to arrival. The welcome snacks, breakfast basket, and all the coffee and tea options were an extra sweet touch. If I ever needed something during my stay, Cassie was super quick to respond.Our time in Crescent Head was too short, and we really hope to return someday! "

"We expected “small” but little things could have been improved......like a few more Hooks for towels etc. Suitcase stand instead of Chest of drawers would make easier movement around the bed."

"Unfortunately the accommodation was broken into on our first day and a number of personal valuables were stolen. The host was initially helpful and we agreed on a refund for the nights unable to be used as we did not feel safe staying there. Since then the host has been completely uncontactable and not return any calls, texts, emails etc. This has been very disappointing. Stayz themselves have been excellent, and when advising them of the situations have been very helpful and understanding. We are disappointed with the outcome from the host and also how the host accused us of improper locking of the front door. Door has clearly been kicked in and lockbox also damaged. "

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: mirador was lovely, the kids loved it. it was very comfortable. the bedroom set up was great too. our 2yr old grandson loved the play area downstairs which was great on a rainy afternoon. close to the beach and shops. we didn't drive our car at all for a week."
