“We booked this beautiful cottage as a last minute, extended stay. It was extremely clean, well decorated, and felt like home. It is a vert short walk to the park with a great outdoor area, including pickleball courts. Everywhere in the neighborhood are areas with incredible views, but one of our favorites was right off the back deck! Our host was incredibly kind and helpful. If you are thinking of booking this house, just do it!”

“I had some friends surprise my husband for his 30th birthday here and it was wonderful! This house had plenty of space for a group of adults to hang out and everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. The neighborhood is delightful and quiet and if you walk far enough down the hill you can even pass some horses! My one comment would be to make sure you bring pantry staples if you plan on cooking at the house. There were plenty of glasses and cutlery but there only seemed to be a few……

“This house is wonderful! It's cozy and clean. The bath towels are big and soft! The bed linens are comfortable. The kitchen has anything you could want. The yard is well kept. We were greeted on our first day by a flock of cardinals. Beautiful. Love being close to downtown. And a nice surprise...Church bells play songs at noon and 6 pm. This is gem of a place!”

“The house is close to the pavilion where huge fire pits are. Pickleball, basketball, horseshoes, bocci ball. Went hiking on the trail behind the house. Just a great experience.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this house, which is conveniently located near Blowing Rock and Boone as well as numerous hiking trails and attractions. Communication with the host was great. The only addition I would make would be a couple of more place settings for the kitchen.”

“The property is in a great location for getting back to nature. Wonderful trails and great scenery. Lots of wildlife. Upstairs bathroom could use a new shower curtain liner. Guest bathroom downstairs had black mould on shower head. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“Our family had a great stay! This cabin was the perfect size for our family of 6 and three other family members. There was even a crib for our one year old. We were so impressed with how clean everything was! The fireplace was so cozy and the hot tub was so relaxing after a day of skiing. The TV in the master bedroom was perfectly placed and such a nice size. The check-in process was easy and the communication was quick and helpful. Hospitality was felt and our family enjoyed the treats left on……
