「I’ve stayed at sea ranch many times and was impressed by all aspects of this home. It’s modern, has a great location close to the walk-on beach, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a gourmet meal. Five stars!」

「I stayed here with a friend for a long weekend - we enjoyed ourselves immensely! Highlights were listening to the birds, the scent of the sweetgrass, a soak in the hot tub, and using this as a home base to explore the lovely coastal towns nearby. Jess left excellent and helpful instructions. We planned ahead for cooking on the induction burners/air fryer and the kitchen was pretty well appointed. We'd recommend a visit to Point Arena for two excellent bakeries - Franny's and Pelican Bread. Also...

「If you love nature this is the perfect place to be. There are many beaches and trails nearby. My husband and I saw animals during our stay that we don't typically see. Harbors seals, Humpback whale (that sadly was deceased) Turkey Vultures, Scrub jays, Red-shoulder hawk, Black-tailed jack rabbit, Douglas squirrel, Gray fox, Brown pelicans, Osprey, Sheep with even a time they were being hearded across a road into a field, and Black-tailed mule deer. 「Cute setup for our kids (ages 9-12), they loved the upper loft filled with toys! The place is very clean and comfortable. It’s secluded in the forest which was beautiful. The only thing was there is a rooster nearby that kept crowing loudly all early morning, so if you like to sleep in, I suggest bringing earplugs :) other than that, it’s a cute and quaint place to stay!」

「I play a game that if I can see whales or dolphins from inside a house, I win. Shalimere wins. Gorgeous views from the house, deck, and hot tub. Access to a beautiful private beach. The house and space is fantastic. The kitchen has all the tools you need - I always take a range of kitchen utensils and items to VRBOs, Shalimere had it all. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely. The hosts, Michelle and Dave, are so communicative and helpful. We loved it so much, we are coming back next summer! 」

「I gave this five stars because overall, the property was great and peaceful and the right price for what it offered. The view out to the ocean is spectacular and the location was exactly what we needed. With that said, a few frustrating things that are good to know before you go (or book this property at all): -- the bunk bed is very high and it doesn't have a guard rail or a ladder. For children, it's basically a middle-of-the-night broken arm waiting to happen. We pulled the mattress down to...

The house was well stocked and very comfortable for seven adults and a baby, and the location is secluded enough to be quiet and private but still 25 minutes from a grocery store. There's a great selection of board games and puzzles and a nice big dining room table to gather around too! 」

「We had a great visit at this home. The views are amazing, the home was clean, tastefully furnished and, for those who plan to cook, had a nice set of quality pots/pans and utensils. Irish beach is within walking distance and nice restaurants in Point Arena are just 20 minutes away. Amit, the property manager, was very responsive answering my questions prior to our visit.
