“Really enjoyable stay in a nice setting, pity about the weather. Fair warning there are some works going on on the property grounds making it a bit more unsightly but nothing can be done about that. Overall great. Thank you.”

“This property delivers on all it offers. Little touches such as liquid soap in bathroom & kitchen, tea towel, sponge, washing up liquid all available for us & very much appreciated. Tea , coffee, sugar also free to use. Everything in good working order & clean. Just round corner from main town so very accessible however a bit noisy from pubs but we sleep with ear plus anyway so never heard anything once in bed. Communication throughout was exemplary ”

“A fantastic property in the perfect location, everything was clean and well presented, rooms are a good size and the beds are comfy. Hot tub really makes it special, and the outdoor space is a good size with all you need.”

“Sehr schönes Haus, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Uns haben Blumen und ein Kuchen empfangen, sehr nette Geste. Rundherum alles grün und auch für unsere Hunde paradiesisch. Mit ein bisschen Glück kann man Rehe, Fasane und Hasen sehen. Wir werden uns gerne daran zurück erinnern.”

“Stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. Accommodation was excellent and the host was very friendly. The service was great and the full English breakfast was very large and tasty. Would definitely recommend staying there.”

“The hotel was very well presented in a scruffy and disappointing town. The quality of the catering at the hotel was exceptional. Some of the best food I’ve eaten in an hotel in a very long time. The menu was imaginative with some nice detail and the delivery exceeded expectations. The town wouldn’t attract me back but I would be prepared to travel some distance to sample the food again.”

“View was lovely the room was very clean everything we needed i had my 9 month old son with me the hotel provided a cot too very welcoming. We were there for a family funeral we had use of iron and board too also swimming pool. Nice peaceful area will be staying again . ”

“Absolutely superb, rooms just been redecorated it seems. Bedding incredible. Didn’t wanna get up. Shower a little bit low and cramped for me. I’m 6ft but otherwise absolutely superb will be coming back ”

“Landlady was very sociable and helpful. Accommodation was clean and tidy and bed comfortable. No cooked breakfast but plenty of everything else so no complaints”

“Overall was great, only downside was my room was on top of the restaurant which caused some noise, also the pillows in the room wasn’t great but everything else was fantastic. ”

“At first site as you enter the building it looked a little dated and need refurbing. I think they are in process of doing this as i could smell paint on my floor. The room was pleasant, although the draws were worn. The mattress was extremely thin and as soon as you sat on it you were on the base. They did offer to move me rooms at first but the hotel was full. Food was good and decent portions in the bar. Breakfast was decent although for £12.50 could of offer pastries etc ”

“Upon arrival there were a couple of issues. The efficient and friendly staff resolved any problems and ensured they would be addressed. The food was fabulous . Could not fault the service.”
