Due to our location, we were not affected by the hurricane. We feel very lucky, as Melissa could have headed to us. The roads are clear from Montego Bay or Kingston to us. Electricity back up in our area, so most attractions are open. If you have any questions, just ask.
Situated on the breathtaking North Coast, Sapphire Reef Villa is surrounded by a protected reef noted for its variety of sea life and beautiful corals. The villa overlooks the reef to provide 180 degrees of beautiful panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea with splashes of sapphire and turquoise. Cool off by taking a dip in the crystal-clear pool then have a cold drink in the gazebo. The villa is fully serviced with a cook, housekeeper and grounds man. The location is ideal as we are near some of Jamaica's best-known attractions, such as Dunns River Falls, Mystic Mountain, Swimming with Dolphins, Blue Hole, Blue Mountain hiking or biking, golfing etc. The villa is on the main road which provides easy access to all local attractions, cultural events and shopping.

Guests have exclusive use of the property, pool and grounds, but number of bedrooms serviced is based on number booked. The villa is a great escape for families, friend get togethers, honeymooners or even better for 2nd honeymooners.
On the sea, the trees and garden provide complete privacy for our guests to enjoy the pool, the sun and night sky.
For peace and relaxation, there is jetty/pier at sea level for snorkeling, swimming or just lying on a chaise lounge with a cool drink.
The water off the jetty depending on the tide is about 2-3 feet, and suitable for children and adults new to snorkeling. Beautiful colorful fish are observed right at the jetty. The reef is protected; the coral and fish are diverse and abundant. Snorkeling is fantastic!!
Guests are served their meals either outside or inside dining areas. The cook will work with you on the menu as well as do all grocery shopping. Guests are responsible for all grocery costs to prepare meals.
We are 5 minutes from Ian Fleming (OCJ) airport, about 1.5 hours from either Montego Bay(MBJ) or Kingston(KIN) airports.
A licensed masseuse is available to provide their services on the pool deck while gazing into the blues of the sea. A beauty shop nearby for mani-pedicures.
Snorkel in front of the villa, no need to schedule a time, just walk down to pier. Snorkel or swim (5 minute walk) to Marley Beach, a small sandy beach and pier. Beaches such as Sugar Pot Beach, James Bond Beach or Pleasure Cove Beach are within 10 minutes by car.
Spectacular sunrises and sunsets are viewed throughout the villa including ocean side bedrooms. Imagine waking up to a Caribbean sunrise, sipping Blue Mountain coffee, while watching the fishermen go out to sea.

Villa is monitored by a security system to provide a safe, secure home. Staff live on the premises in separate staff quarters. No visitors allowed on property unless approved by owner.
