Première expérience pendant le check-in: aucun sourire, aucun bonjour comment ça va, juste une vitrine qui sépare complètement avec une place ou mettre ta pièce d’identité qui l’emmène de l’autre côté. Juste un quand vous partez faites juste laisser la carte dans la chambre, ne venez pas ici. Deuxièmement, le mot de passe pour le wifi est begin69… hummm quoi? J’ai commencé à me demandé si je n’étais pas dans un motel qui charge à l’heure… en plus je suis avec ma fille ado… troisièmement on rentre dans la chambre et ça sent comme un motel qui acceptait les fumeurs dans le passé. Au moins ce n’était pas assez fort pour déclencher mon asthme. Ensuite, un trou de brûlure de cigarette dans le couvre-lit. Le lit était double et non queen et faisait des grincements à chaque fois qu’on embarquait dessus. Le premier soir on écoute le match de hockey, les canadiens en séries qui sera suivi du match des Oilers. Le overtime commence et la télé s’éteint…je la rallume et elle se reteint, comme si quelqu’un d’autre pouvait contrôler ma télé. Et on ne l’écoutait pas fort. Le lendemain, le câble ne marchait pu du tout et avec le “merveilleux” bienvenue que j’ai reçu, je ne voulais certainement pas retourner au bureau. En tout, la pire place ou je suis restée.

The property was very run down. The chair had stains, holes, and was ripped in places. Neither the shower nor the sink drained very fast. There was no place to put a suitcase, and the only place to put a computer was on the end table beside the bed. The sink fixtures were rusty.

So this is the cheapest option to stay near Gillette Stadium. I'm not paying $600 a night to stay at the stadium hotels. The room was, well, adequate. When you arrive, the lobby, which is really a stretch, is a tiny 5' x 10' space with the owner behind bullet proof glass and a bank style protection box through which you pass your card and he provides the key. The rooms are rough, to be frank, but adequate. It seriously looks like their drunk uncle George did the renovations. Heat comes from what looks like a wall a/c unit which is seriously loud, but heats the place adequately. The shower took about 5 minutes to get hot. I gave up at 3 minutes and had a cold shower only to have the scorching hot finally arrive as I was getting out. It wasn't dirty really, it just felt, well, ignored. The furniture was a hoot - folding table tor night stands - looked like they found at a cheap yardsale. But. It was, again, adequate. The best thing? There was a mircrowave and a fridge with a freezer! We stayed at a far "nicer" place in Boston that was supposed to be a suite, but had a micro fridge, no freezer, no microwave, nothing. So total bonus points because we had leftovers which we ate before going to the sub-zero game. And yes - you can walk to Gillette, but it's not for the faint of heart. Advice - walk to Gillette on the Southbound side. It has MUCH more safe space for walking. We were directed to walk up the northbound side which had no space.
