"The host has thought of everything. The high speed internet was great, so working remotely from this property was a breeze for all the guests. Lovely big screen TV in the living room . Every conceivable pot, pan, bowl and utensil were provided in the kitchen. There are only 4 parking spaces permitted per Big Bear city regulations. Be sure to check propane levels on the outdoor appliances you plan to use, they may not be full completely full."

"This is our go to place when visiting Big Bear during the summer. It’s rustic, right on the lake and almost walking distance into town. The staff is friendly and very helpful."

"The home is so cute with all the whimsical touches throughout. We loved the character of the home and the comforts of the home. The master bed is way too soft for me and my husband. The shower in the community bathroom shoots outside of the shower. The master shower is absolutely beautiful. Of course the view of Bolder Bay is amazing. We didn't like how murky and sluggy the water is as we couldn't swim and fish right in front as we had hoped for. The outside area needs cob web cleaning especially by the fireplace as we fought off a ton of spiders. I understand we're in the mountains but we had to clean the cob webs and kill some spiders. We brought our kayak and paddle boards and the area going down the stairs should have been cleaned of debris of pine needles, leaves, and pine cones. It was kind of hard going down the hill to the water with all of our things. We had to clean and move some of the debri out of the way so we didn't risk falling. Other than that it was a great stay for being on the water and having access to the lake that the home provides. We wished the TVs worked properly in the bedrooms as well. Overall a lovely home to stay in."

"The hosts were absolutely the best! We had a few glitches with the key pad entry and they responded by phone in less than a few minutes! The cabin is comfy and “woodsy” in decor. Very much aligned with lake setting. Very pleasant surroundings and a great experience."

What We Loved: The Authentic Cabin Vibe: The property features charming, 1950s-era rustic cabins that are full of character. Coming back to a crackling fireplace after a long day of exploring is unmatched. Prime Location: It is incredibly close to Metcalf Bay and a short, easy walk to the beautiful views at Boulder Bay Park. Plus, it’s just a quick drive straight into The Village for dining and shopping. Fantastic Property Amenities: The common areas are incredibly welcoming.
