「Overall the cabin is very cozy and comfortable. Clean; stocked with cooking ware. We use ATT cellular, which was NOT available in the area, but bypassed it with Wi-Fi, which worked well. It’s close to the road, but there’s not much traffic so it was pretty quiet. The river seating area is beautiful but it is close behind the other cabins, so if you prefer more privacy it’s a little awkward. We didn’t meet the owners, but they are right there on the property and seemed like very wonderful...

「The setting is spectacular—only a few feet to the creek from the deck! The cabin is cozy and comfortable with high-end bedding and kitchen supplies. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolates. It doesn’t get much better than this if you’re looking for a mountain retreat AND we were able to bring our fur baby too!」

「I have been searching for the perfect cabin near Denver to “run away” to after a busy summer. I finally found it! Brookside will be my annual escape.
You have provided for my every knee, including extra special touches. I was especially delighted to find the house slippers and chocolate cookies.
My favorite thing is the hammock right beside the river – a dream come true!

「Our small dog loved the fenced back yard. We loved the spaces to explore in the house and the closeness to town. We had a great view of the lake and very comfortable beds! There is a fancy telescope for gazing at the sky, although we didn't quite know how to use it.Sleeping areas and bathrooms were on opposite ends of the house for privacy. Bathrooms were not ensuite but hey, we were in the mountains!!Thank you to our hosts who answered our very inquiry!」

「Loved this property! We came in from the Tetons, as this was part of our drive home to the Midwest. This was a perfect spot close to Rocky Mountain NP & super close to the Wild Basin entrance. 「This rustic cabin had plenty of room for our large group. Close to an event venue we were visiting. We loved the records and record player. Appreciated the updated bathrooms. Adequate air-conditioning. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed (note: don't use the microwave, coffee maker and electric tea kettle at the same time or you'll need to reset the breaker). We had a wonderful time at Ferncliff Lodge.」
