Came on a spontaneous trip and booked this very last minute, it was great location, great price and perfect for a short stay! We enjoyed the 1812 bar and the live music, staff were super lovely, room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable! We will definitely be returning next time we are in Bournemouth!! Thank you

Tracey’s stay in Bournemouth

Nice little stay, hotel was lovely. Rooms were really Good and spacious, breakfast was good. Only issue is the nightclub right on the side of the property. Which was very loud until late, otherwise a lovely Stay, can’t fault the place.

Overnight concert stay.

2 night stay for a concert easy check in room was ok not the best I’ve stayed in room overlooked the front of the bar area quite noisy if you wanted an early night.

Very convenient for beach, shops and gardens. Gates on the car park, our room was fairly quiet and nice, although a bit dated, shower wasn’t very good. Breakfast was cooked as required and it was lovely 😊 Staff were very helpful. We would stay there again 😁

Lovely hotel in a period building, friendly staff, spacious room and comfortable bed. My only criticism is the shower. The head was fixed so could not rinse out the bath and also whenever we took a shower the shower curtain wrapped round you as it was flimsy material, seemed unhygienic as it would have done it to everyone who stayed there and doubt it is cleaned/disinfected as the shower head is not removable to wash it down.

I was on a solo trip and this hotel was perfect for my needs. Location was brilliant turn left for the beach, turn right for the town and restaurants. The breakfast was freshly cooked in the beautiful bar area. Reception staff were very helpful and made my stay so good.

Weather was a amazing, we done plenty of walking, hotel was fantastic, only one problem was, hotel bed was like a trampoline, but mentioned it to reception and there were on it straight away ,staff were fantastic.

Great venue

Fantastic overnight stay at Royal Exeter hotel in Bournemouth from start to finish. Friendly staff, good room, delicious breakfast. Went to a show at the BIC and loved coming back to extend the evening at 1812 disco afterwards. Will definitely be back!

Great hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was very spacious as we upgraded to a four poster bedroom (room 120), but what we gained with having a great room we lost out on the view out of the bedroom window (limited to just a view of a flat roof). Would definitely go back to this hotel 👍

This was perfect for our needs, a Thursday night in Cardiff. Would definitely stay here again. Fantastic rooms, comfortable beds. Only after booking was I made aware that this hotel can be very noisy at the weekends - worth consider considering if you will be there on a Friday or Saturday night. It was wonderfully quiet on a Thursday night!
