"Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. "

"Barton Cottage is a lovely property in the beautiful Bourton on the Water. There is a lot to do just walking around the village (kid friendly)and nearby villages. There are great dining options nearby. We enjoyed the comfortable living room. We did have trouble finding the property and couldn’t get ahold of the management service. "Execellent place to go relax and take in the beautiful Cotwolds. This hotel is just perfect for a weekend break or longer. The rooms are modern, clean with all amenities you would expect from a top hotel. Breafast was amazing and the amazing staff prepared eggs for breakfast as we like. Its located so close to great day vists and if nothingbelse just in the hotel and enjoy the pool and spa and relax at the bar. We'll definitely be back soon..a great big.thank you everyone at the hotel for making our stay PERFECT ! "
