Hi Nicholas - Thank you for your review. To speak to your concerns... Yes we realize it was an inconvenience that a storm knocked out the power and water, we did not cause this issue, nor did the property owner, but we do understand that this was not optimal. You called in a few times about the issue and mentioned you were considering leaving because of the issues and we told you we would understand and we would work with the property owner to figure out a fair solution. You decided to stay for the duration of your stay despite the power and water issues. The cabins are somewhat rustic and in the woods and do not have air condition. It of course does get warm in there on hot days, but that is the nature of this type of property and folks generally understand the rustic nature of the destination when making their reservation and planning their stay. As far as a fire pit, this is a safety issue as it is in the middle of the woods, surrounded by pines that could easily start a fire. In this particular setting, a fire could be disastrous, particularly when it is as warm and dry as it has been. We do appreciate you voicing your concerns, and we do understand that the power being out was very inconvenient, however, the rest of the issues are simply the nature of that property and are explicitly stated as such in the listing.
