"Management was not to be seen. A lot of undertrained staff. The main hotel is in very poor condition and needs major renovations. Hygiene can be seriously improved. The new section of the hotel with a spa and the restaurant is on the other side of the street. In the main building, there is no possibility to have tea or coffee, not in the room and not in the foyer. Good things: lots of dogs, food, Anjelika did a great job in the spa, and Vlad with Jürgen rescued the service. Convienient...

"The hotel appears to be set up more as a conference centre than the as advertised relaxing spa hotel. We booked this hotel for the spa experience/treatment but found out on arrival that the spa doesn't open until after 5 pm (when the conferences finish). We booked a massage (they had to get someone in because they don't have an onsite masseuse) we asked if it would be possible to have at least the whirlpool switch on for after the massage but they left it drained. "This was a great place to stay. Spotless room, very helpful desk staff, and exceptional breakfast (included) in a lovely dining room. For those who have a car, parking is free. A small downside for those with arthritis in their hands: the soap is liquid in plastic bottles that are very difficult to squeeze. You might want to bring your own bar soap."
