There was an odd smell throughout the hotel--like a public restroom. Location was convenient, breakfast was good, everthing appeared clean and well maintained. I'm not sure what was causing the odor, but you smelled it as soon as you walked through the doors. It was in the room also.

Staff was very nice friendly and helpful if needed. But didnt go out of their way. The rooms smelled and looked dated, but from what i understand are being redone to some extent. the carpet would make a big difference. Not really a complaint just an observation. They were otherwise clean and the bathroom was quite nice. Breakfast is good! Hot and cold, sausuge eggs and biscuts. Panckakes and more. The pool is indoor but was not heated, it may be when its colder but it was 70°in December. We are from a warmer climate. Overall we felt like it was a good value, and located really in the middle of alot. Most likey will stay again if we visit again.

My wife and I loved everything about L of the O. Beautiful facility, great breakfast buffet, big room with comfortable beds. The shower pressure was marginal, adequate but not great. Otherwise this place is a 10.

Location is very good, very close to the attractions. Area was busy since this was Christmas Season. No views or scenery. Lobby area is very beautiful, breakfast was very good, delicious, area very specious and clean. Rooms have no views whatsoever but decor definitely surprised us. Furniture are made out of the real wood like in the mountains lodge you would find. We were impressed. In the hallways the wall sconces, tables and even the numbers on the doors were reminding you that you are in the Lodge. All staff that we interacted with were very nice and helpful. Definitely place that we would stay again. Price was what we expected to pay for the time of the year. Definitely our choice in the future. Most important thing for us was that room was clean and spacious. Cleanness is the most important thing we look at every time. Conclusion, great place for the money you spend, clean room, delicious breakfast good location and friendly staff will make you happy.

We have stayed here many times and what brings us back is their consistency. The staff is great. The hotel is clean. My kids and grandkids love the breakfast and the large pool. And most importantly, problems are quickly resolved. What else could we ask for? See you again soon.

A. PROS: Pretty much everything. A.1. Beds comfortable. Staff professional/prompt to request. B. CONS: For my wants/needs B.1. Coffee pot water pass through verrrry slow for a 4-6 ounce cup, i.e., ~5 minutes. B.2. Four(4) big/very firm/heavy pillows per queen bed excessive. Two(2) per bed O.K. B.3. Must be an industry practice for beds to be made up and feel like a straight jacket with "shorted sheets prank. B.4. Leave the table desk top free of ice bucket to allow for electronic equipment and other work space.
