"We have stayed at the falcon several times in the past and every time the food, rooms and the staff are fantastic. We come from Canada and each time we visit bude this is our place of choice to stay."

"The room was spacious with nice furnishings. We had a view over the beach towards the south. The bathroom was good with a deep bath and an over bath shower. The bed was really comfortable. We'd definitely go back."

"The Lodge was clean and presented well. However lounge furniture especially chair needed cleaning on the arms. Staff very helpful when i lost earring down the bathroom sink. However one thing not done after being highlighted was road night lights not working. We extended our stay as well."

"Lovely cottage, ideal location with pleasant walks to beach and town. We appreciated ithe kitchen was fully equipped and it was always warm. Two toilets, a shower and bath were great. Clean on arrival and easy to keep clean during the week as there was no excessive clutter. Comfortable beds and quiet neighbours, actually didn't hear them all week. Owners responsive and pleasant. Definitely recommend staying here for a Bude break! If there's no parking directly outside, there are some nearby side streets with free overnight and weekend parking"

"Everything about The Getaway was perfect. Penny & Gary were the most gracious hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could ever need. As far as location, you couldn’t get a much better spot, close to Sainsburys for your grocery needs and a short walk to town or the beach. We visit Cornwall every 2 years and The Getaway will be our home away from home every time now! "
