The historic town of Brecon is 2 miles from the property where you will find plenty of coffee shops, art galleries, restaurants, bars, military museum, promenade where you can paddleboard, Jazz festival and County Show - be sure not to miss a visit to the Theatre Brycheiniog at the start of the Brecon- Monmouth canal where you can hire boats. It is also a great location for star gazers as the Brecon Beacon National Park is an International Dark Sky Reserve. There is an 18-hole golf course at Cradoc Golf Club with a bar / restaurant that is a 5-minute walk from The Annex.



For those looking to explore the Brecon Beacons, this property is just 8 miles from the base of Pen Y Fan , so you can enjoy climbing the highest peak in South Wales to see the magnificent views of the National Park. The Annex is a fabulous base for walkers, cyclists and pony trekking and only 17 miles from the wonderful 4 Waterfalls Ystradfellte. For those wishing to cycle in the area there are plenty of routes, and BikePark Wales is roughly a 25-minute drive from the property.
