Welcome to our paradise. In the center of the Netherlands with Amsterdam, Utrecht, Gouda, Delft and Oudewater nearby, we offer you peace and space. How nice is it to sit on the water and enjoy the sun or enjoy the panoramic view of the meadows?
Or would you rather go for a canoe or your own rowboat in the beautiful nature reserve? This is possible with us!

We have our own natural swimming pool and sunbathing area. And do not forget your own free parking space for your car. Since there is a terrace on 3 sides of the house, you always have a wonderful place to sit. Just what you want, in the sun or in the shade.

Our nature house "De Koolmees" is fully equipped, wifi, Smart TV with Digitenne, dishwasher, oven, microwave, washing machine, dryer etc. You do not lack luxury. Everything is new, in 2018 we have renovated inside and out "De Koolmees". Chillier days in spring or autumn? No problem. "De Koolmees" is super insulated and has central heating in all rooms.
The closed garden has space to store your (electric) bikes and possibly recharge them.

When you enter, you have the spacious bathroom on the right, the laundry room with the washer and dryer on the left. There is also the wardrobe. At the end of the corridor left under the stairs is the "coffee and tea bar" and right corner kitchen. Under the side window is the dining area and to the left, overlooking the meadows, the seating area with the smart TV. In the roof structure there are 2 beds, which can be used as twins or 2 persons. Here are the bathroom furniture with sink and storage space. There is a single bed in the small room. All beds have good mattresses and are 90x200.

Through the French doors you enter the terrace. On the terrace there is a garden table for 4 people for al fresco dining and sun loungers to enjoy the outdoors and of course a charcoal grill.
The rowboat is waiting for you at the dock. The rowing boat is especially for you and included in the rental price.

In our pasture there are chickens, ducks, sheep and kobus our pony. If the weather permits, we will invite you for a tour with our boat.

If you want, you can rent our sheets and towels. The beds are already made for you when you arrive. For this we charge an additional fee of 20,00 € per person.

Breukelen has its own train station where you can park for free. The reins take you to the center of Amsterdam in less than half an hour.

The area around Breukelen is beautiful and has a rich history. The river Vecht plays an important role. Already in the golden age, around the year 1600, the wealthy businessmen discovered the beauty of the river. The traders, who made a lot of money trading with Asia, built beautiful estates with teahouses on the Vecht. Many of these estates have been preserved. Around Breukelen there are many bike paths that lead you along the rivers, through the polders or in beautiful nature reserves. You should not miss the cycle route around the lakes of Loosdrecht or through the nature reserve from Tienhoven to Hilversum. Search for cycling routes in Breukelen:


Do you like to play golf? Also, a few miles away, in the rustic town of Loenen aan de Vecht is a beautiful golf course with 81 holes. For more information;
