“The cabin exceeded our already high expectations. It was a perfect set up for traveling with friends, as we each had private space as well as well-appointed and ample space to share and hang out together. The gorgeous views, the esthetics of the entire home, and the grounds to explore, made the cabin an adventure all to itself. “The Bank had a great front porch with rocking chairs and a fabulous view of the mountains and the sunset. The bed was comfortable, but the room lacked a coffee maker, tissues, and a chair to sit in, though there was a small stool covered in towels. Someone left the last 2 sections of the toilet paper on the roll instead of changing it out for a new one, and the sink still had clumpy soap residue from previous renter. The shower also had mold in it, so I was a bit dissappointed in the amenities……

“WOW, this property did NOT disappoint! Perfect for my wife and I, and obviously could have accommodated more people if needed. Everything we needed was there, and they thought of the "little kindnesses" too, like night lights in the hall and bathroom, places to plug in phones, well stocked kitchen, lots of games, etc etc.Our favorite part was watching sunrise and sunset from the front and back porches...indescribably stunning! And, it's super cool to be surrounded basically on 3 sides by Big……

“We had the greatest time! The place looks straight out of the western era and the views are incredible! It’s super close to Big Bend. If you want to go see stars is the perfect place, always double check the weather because we did get some clouds and rain on the second day. Overall, it was a great place! The only thing that I would recommend is that the porch light to be red light, when we were stargazing some people had their porch light on and it affected visibility.”
