「We arrived late and left early, but our short time here was great. It was very clean and easy to find with google maps. It was a little tricky finding our building in the dark but the stars are amazing!」

「The quaint cabin was very clean and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The day we arrived the power went out and apparently it impacted a lot of residents. Thankfully, power was restored within 20 minutes. Daryl followed up by calling and checking on us which was a very kind gesture. There aren't a lot of dining options throughout the area, so I suggest bringing your own food. The cabin's fridge is large enough to store a lot of groceries. 」

「The property offered a place to rest and recuperate from a long day of hiking. A shower and a place to lay our heads for a good night's sleep. Our room was comfortable and once we figured things out, we had a good stay. This was an interesting layout with a few nuances for "living off the grid"! Overall, enjoyable!」

The shower is a little short, fine for me but a little difficult for my husband. Super cute inside. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and looking at the stars. Convenient location to restaurants in town and BBNP. If we return, we plan to stay here again!」

「We loved our stay here. It can feel warm when you enter for the first time, but there is some kind of special cooling system. It did make some noise. We preferred the cooling of the night and set the windows open. The kitchen was well equipped. We would have stayed longer if we were not on a schedule. At night we could see many stars. It was romantic.」

「If you’re looking for a unique experience and want to feel like a cowboy back in the day, this is it! Please note that you need a truck to get to this place, we had to use the four-wheel-drive on our truck. Don’t come in a car! It’s a good 30 or 40 minute drive to Big Bend from here.」

「We had a great stay at Boca de la Roca. The house is located at the top of the hill with a 360 degrees of amazing views and it is a short drive to the Big Band national park. Being there feels like you are transported into another, tranquil, world. Each of the well-appointed bedrooms has its own bathroom and the kitchen/leaving area is equipped with everything we needed. Maybe, having a toaster would be nice, but maybe it is intentionally not there as the house is solar powered. We would...

「We didn't much like the distance from 118 but that is what it is. Otherwise, we liked it a lot. The trail and chairs outside were an unexpected pleasure. The deck and speakers were great. This time of year worked out very well since so many cactus species were blooming. The cabin was very comfortable. We had a couple issues with maintenance and one of them was fixed a couple days in. 「The Camp Elena Ocotillo Tent 1 was impressive!! We weren't completely sure what to expect but this was glamping at it's finest! Having access to a small fridge, microwave, coffee and a sink worked out great for us. The bathroom was impeccable and had a lovely spa-type feel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the blankets very warm and cozy, which made for a great nights sleep! The attached patio and grill were also very nice and we sat out there a good bit.
