“It was clean, comfortable, the AC worked great and the staff was great! This is an older motel and needs renovation. Having said that, you must remember that you are in one of the most remote places in the US with Mexico about 5 miles from you (as the crow flies). We were out of the room and exploring most of the time. I was concerned about noise from the highway, but we were there mid-week and had no issue. The motel offers a discounted breakfast buffet at the diner next door- which we didn't……

“My husband and I went for a long weekend and chose this property for our time there. It is very convenient to big Bend national Park. It was immaculately clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who is going to be in the area and anybody who is intending to do some hiking in big bend and does not want to camp in the park. When we go back to Big Bend, we will make this the location we stay from now on.”

“This picture is very deceiving, it looks nothing like the picture it’s nothing but an old apartment complex with what appears people live there permanently and all hanging on balcony and socializing and did not have elevator, nothing but stairs and there were 4 of us elderly ladies that have walking issues much less going up stairs to carry luggage, impossible, so manager saw we were all elderly and offered to put us in downstairs in a room that had 3 queen beds at no xtra charge. We accepted……

“The location is only 4 minutes drive to Big Bend which is a big plus for us. We stayed there 4 nights, and the host is responsive and keep the trash in our room cleaned every day. The check in and check out thrue texting is also convenient for us because we check in late and check out early thanks to the smart door lock. The layout is practical and in room appliances (microwave, fridge, hair blower) are also help us staying in there for easy breakfast and dinner. Overall, I recommend this……

“Best hotel in Alpine! Clean, comfortable and located near surrounding sightseeing destinations. Staff was great and the little extra amenities, like snacks, were an added bonus.”

“Was only a dome with a speaker and dirty socks under the bed and a port-a-potty. There was no chairs or places to sit under the stairs or a fireplace I felt like I was roughing it. Way overpriced considering what is was. I would not stay again ”
