I have stayed here many times and have never had a problem. Staff are always super friendly and very welcoming. You get a real welcoming ‘local pub’ feel when you go in. The bar area is really cosy and the food is fantastic-large portions and a good choice on the menu. Sunday roast is great too!!
Rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need.
An excellent place to stay so I would highly recommend.

From the outside the property looked a bit tired but on entering we loved the friendly warm welcome. The ambiance in the bar and dining areas was so lovely and the choice of food really great - it was truly appetising! Wonderful stay - we’ll certain stay again if we’re in the area.

Just a 1 night stay on the way to Cornwall. Great location as the village has lots of little pubs and restaurants too. Staff at the malt were helpful and the rooms are basic but good value for money with breakfast included.
