“This cottage is so cute, across the street from the ferry landing and the general store, and has the best front porch ever. The owners also put time into honoring the history of the home and the island. PI is also not filled with Range Rovers and too big houses, it's wonderful!We booked very last minute for July 4th weekend and watched about 10 different fireworks displays and the charming PI parade on the 4th alone from our comfy perch on the wonderful front porch. “If you are looking for peace and quiet in your travels this is the spot. It's a lovely little place off the beaten path. It's clean and extremely comfortable surrounded by beautiful scenery. It's not far from anything. The owners are a lovely couple that live on the property but you never know that they are there. Definitely the first place I will look if I come back to town.”

“What a lovely weekend! We were in town for Parents’ Weekend at URI and this delightful home was just what we needed. A quick drive to campus, dinner in Narragansett and even quicker drive to bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and a lovely little grocery. The house had great space for cooking meals (plenty of pots and pans…space to eat…oils and spices in the cabinets). The three rooms and comfy tv space for watching football was ideal. “This place is newly remodeled and very comfortable. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and air conditioning. We were visiting family nearby so we did not go to Oakland Beach but it is a short walk away. The bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs and the stairs are steep, as they are in most older New England homes. It's something to consider for those with mobility concerns or small children, although there is a baby gate available. The neighborhood felt safe and family oriented, even walking……

“Very cute cottage in a country-feel setting while still being an easy drive to amenities, nature, and attractions. Host was very responsive and welcoming - she even brought by some home grown tomatoes (yum!). Laundry onsite is a big plus with a toddler, summer humidity, and multi-activity days. Would stay again; my toddler asks “when we going back to our cottage?””
