“If you get a chance to stay at this beautiful home-- do it!! We instantly felt transported in place and time, rendering it easy to melt into a retreat away. The pictures do not fully capture the enchantment of the interplay between nature and cool, luxury living. Moreover, the impeccably decorated spaces brought comfort, interest, rest, and invitation to relax or play. The rooms were absolutely spotless; the beds extremely comfortable (rooms with darkened shades), and every piece in the home……

“This place was perfect. Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants, movie theaters, groceries, etc. in downtown West Hartford. The place had everything you could think of, from kitchen utensils, kitchen basics (oil, salt/pepper, coffee, etc.), even some nice touches like charger plugs on every nightstand. Just a real easy and pleasurable experience. If I could buy this house, I would.”

“We visited over a holiday weekend. The house is clean and a good size for the 3 adults in our group and our dog. It is in walking distance to several stores and a park. We would stay again if we were in the area. ”

Every amenity is exactly where you’d expect, from towels to umbrellas to kitchenwares. If you ever dreamed of living in a magazine spread, this is the spot for you. A short walk down the sidewalk takes you into the heart of Litchfield - even at night, it was well lit enough to walk. Liz is a kind host, and the check in / check out process is……

“Short getaway for our anniversary. Great little spot on the lake. Lots of places to hang out and take in the view, either in the sun, or shade or at night. Enjoyed the kayaks and especially the paddle boat. Grilled and ate dinner on the porch, and enjoyed the fire pit at night. Plus, got to bring our doggie too. Recommend you stay and enjoy.”
