We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the charming Swallows Rest property. The cottage was clean, cozy and comfortable. Our property hosts were helpful and responsive in answering questions and providing information about the area. It’s in a great location for day trips throughout the villages of the Cotswold. Our group of four women could not have been happier!

Beautiful Cottage

We had a wonderful stay in the well appointed and equipped cottage. Lovely outside space too for sitting and relaxing. There is plenty to do within a short drive and the village is pretty with some good walks across the fields too. Very enjoyable

Great stay!

Swallows Rest was a lovely house in a beautiful location. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and the peace and quiet was wonderful. Would definitely recommend a stay here as it’s easy to get to places of interest and there are some great walks on the doorstep.

Beautiful & Perfect

The entire house was perfect for our family. Lovely neighborhood and nearby to Broadway. We did many day trips from our cottage. Communication was fabulous; everything was exactly as described. Would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful cottage

We really enjoyed the comfort and views! Everything was clean and very comfortable. The Internet was very slow, and we would have liked to know which bins needed to go out - week1/week 2 didn’t help , but it was a fantastic location.

Stay at Swallows Rest Cottage

Swallows Rest cottage is a very well presented and equipped cottage in a beautiful location. The views from the Master Bedroom are wonderful and our children enjoyed watching the steam train pass. Laverton itself is a very picturesque village and makes a great base for exploring the local area, including Broadway which is a short drive away. We would definitely recommend this property

Perfect cottage in the Cotswolds

Ideal location to visit the Cotswolds, 2mn drive to Broadway and many restaurants around. But the cottage is perfectly equiped if you want to cook and enjoy this very cosy place. The team is very reactive over communication and help if needed. Highly recommended !

Wonderful Cotswolds Visit!

First time to visit the Cotswolds and could not have picked a better location! The cottage was very comfortable and plenty of room for the 5 of us to spread out and relax. The neighborhood was everything we had been told about the Cotswolds. Friendly neighborhood and easy to walk to locations of interest. Well stocked cottage as well. We even grilled out, which coming from Texas was an added plus. Will not forget the three day visit for a long time!

Amazing stay

What a beautiful cottage! I had explored this cottage on a 3d tour before we arrived (numerous times!) but nothing could prepare me for how beautiful the cottage actually was. It was the perfect space for a multi generational break away celebrating a 60th birthday. We had a 1 year old with us, and I can’t recommend this cottage enough for someone travelling with children. They had baby gates, travel cots stored away upstairs, a beautiful vintage style silver cross high chair, even peppa pig cutlery which my daughter loved! This really was a home from home, and we really hope to return again soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home.

Really impressed, the property was immaculate and very well equipped. There was a bottle of bubbly in the fridge, chocolate biscuits and plenty of milk, sugar and coffee as part of the welcome pack.TVs in every bedroom, comfortable beds and plenty of towels and toiletries.Very convenient for visiting this very picturesque area.All in all, I would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful location

Having never been to the Cotswolds, this cottage was wonderful! It was cozy and the garden beautiful! We enjoyed our walks every evening. The town of Broadway is right down the road and we decided that it was our favorite Cotswold village.

Delightful cottage in excellent location

This was the second time my friends and I have stayed in this cottage. It’s spacious and comfortable and in an excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds. There was a supply of tea, coffee & Prosecco all of which were very welcome. Both of our visits have been in November. We’d like to return again in the spring or summer to make the most of the pleasant outdoor space.

Our stay

The house was just as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. The house was well stocked with bathroom and kitchen essentials though I did wish I had taken kitchen roll! Around the property were numerous instructions one of which told us how quiet the area was. In the instructions before arriving we were told no noise outside after 10pm. During our stay we obeyed these rules. Our neighbours did not. I was still listening to their garden party noise at midnight. There was a similar situation on the second night though it did finish earlier. Such a shame that this was the only blight on our stay. We all loved the property and would happily return, however because it’s not dog friendly we will need to find a dog friendly option in the area.
