「We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. There were plenty of useful extras like iron, travel cot, hairdryers, plenty of toilet rolls. There was an en-suite with shower and a family bathroom too. 「The property was nicely finished and whilst small, we knew that and it was perfect for our family of 3. The living and kitchen area is one space but the high ceiling helps give it a sense of size. The area the cottage is located in, the grounds of Middlethorpe Manor and hotel are nice too. The cleaners were still there when we arrived 45 minutes after our started arrival time. 「Very well maintained and clean property. Had everything we needed and a beautiful large garden to enjoy in the sunshine. Easy walk into the centre of York with the option of buses or taxis at very reasonable prices if you choose to use them. We would stay there again. The drive took one car but if you had another there was plenty of parking spaces on the road.」
