“Great little place! Host made everything easy for us so we could enjoy our stay. It’s a little tight for a family of four, but we made it work.”

“Charming cottage! Great location to Charlottesville and UVA. The cottage was immaculate, beds were comfy and the downstairs kitchen had everything you would need. The cottage owners had thoughtfully created an updated modern feel for a precious historic cottage.”

“Everything about the cottage was great! It was perfect for our small family. Everything was super clean. The host was very responsive. All of the instructions were easy to follow and we had no issues checking in. It was such a convenient place to stay. We plan to come back!”

“The property felt exceptionally clean and inviting. The design of the studio was spacious with amazing finishings. We appreciated the water and coffee. Arrival and departure were communicated clearly. Parking was easy. I also liked that all the light switches were clearly labeled. We would definitely recommend!”

“Lovely stay and perfect for our visit!”

“Loved our time here! It was a clean and beautiful house! The communication with the owner was great. The mountain roads to the house were a little scary. The freezer had 3-4 old fashioned ice trays which were inconvenient if you needed more ice. The refrigerator temperature was so cold that our milk and our pitcher of water was turning into ice. There was some food stuck on the coffee table out at the hot tub area. The hot faucet in one of the bedroom bathrooms needs to be tightened. Everything……

“Thank you for a great stay in your beautiful home! Everything was perfect! …We rented another house of Daniels at the same time, for more family members, also in Wingina. These 2 houses were located less than 10 minutes from each other, and both houses were about 1/2 hour from the seminary in Dillwyn, which was our intended destination each day. Host and house were terrific!!!”

“The cottage was beyond our expectations and we have stayed all over the world. We have even booked again for next year, which we have never done with a property but this place was perfect, relaxing, well equipped and our dog loved it too.We would highly recommend it!”

“The area and the space were great! We just didn't love the fact that the "neighbors" below us were likely residents of the downstairs space. They were very quiet, but in context of a cottage in the country, it just feels a little off to have someone living in the same dwelling you're renting to get away from it all. Neighbors that are also vacationers would have made it a little less uncomfortable. Not bad experience, but not our preference for the context. ”
