Beautiful hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Only 17 rooms so it was cozy. The patio by the canal was our favorite place in Bruges.

This was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. We had a large suite, ground floor on the right side. The gift shop, blue room with glass ceiling, and the huge common living room were superbly decorated. It has a patio right on the canal. It is a short walk to the main squares. There are many restaurants and shops nearby.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. They made us feel welcome as soon as we entered the door . They grabbed our luggage and gave a brief tour of their beautiful boutique hotel.
Made excellent recommendations on restaurants and attractions. The service was impressive . Breakfast was delicious and served in a gorgeous atmosphere whether inside or outside on the canal . Would definitely choose to stay there again .

This was an amazing hotel. I booked it for my wife and 15-year-old daughter for a girls trip. It was extremely safe and they couldn't stop raving about how amazing The Hotel and staff were.

The Van Cleef is absolutely exceptional: the staff are helpful and discreet; the breakfast is outstanding (especially if you eat on the terrace overlooking the canal); it is well situated; and the interior design of the public areas is very impressive. It felt like a trip back in time -- it was so individual, as if you were as guest in their home. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Service impeccable, professionnel et agréable. Chambre bien équipée. Très calme. Proche centre et très bien situé. Le petit déjeuner est à prendre en terrasse quand la météo est clémente. Je recommande.

This was one of the best places I have stayed in 25+ years of travelling. A beautiful boutique hotel in a beautiful city. The staff from the moment we entered until we left was superb. Rebecca and her team, Lucas, Ben and the young lady in the restaurant for breakfast were just so fantastic. As an example of their unwavering hospitality my wife and I went from Brugge to Brussels to catch the train back to London and on onward flight back to NYC. Upon arriving we realized we had left our passports in the hotel room. One call to Van Cleef and they dispatched a driver to deliver our passports down to Brussels 1.5 hrs away that allowed us to get back to London and then NYC flight....I will absolutely recommend this hotel...oh and the breakfast Eggs Benedict from Chef is not to be missed. Thankyou Team Van Cleef
