I will never stay in another room like this because there is no other room or place as magical as this. Walking around Bruges is like being in a fairytale; why not stay in one? David and his daughter were amazing hosts; the fresh breakfast every morning was delicious and filling. I only left a few hours ago and I already miss the place. If you are considering visiting Bruges, do it right and stay here.

Staying at Nuit Blanche was a singular experience. Not only was the place like stepping back into a fairytale, it was so cozy, welcoming, and the room was much larger than we expected. The host, David is such a warm, kind and interesting person and we loved sitting in his studio and his breakfast was one of the best we had while in Europe. He had the best recommendations and was so helpful. We traveled as 3 generations- grandmother, mother and granddaughter. If you’re looking for a Marriott or basic experience this is NOT it. If you want a magical dreamlike place to stay in Brugge, look no further. The location was A++ and so quiet at night. Totally walkable yet tucked away. Thank you David and Nuit Blanche for making our stay so memorable!! We can’t wait to go back!!

David was a perfect host - the breakfast was exceptional - having a conversation with David during our check in and at breakfast was a family feel and look into Dutch life. My daughters oura rind gave her the rating of a 92 sleep rating for the night which is the best she has had since she got the ring January I would stay here again for longer and take advantage of the views to draw in my stetchbook

Fairytale place to stay in the heart of Bruges. My only reluctance to leave a review is that more people will book this amazing place when I want to go back! David and Fleur are exceptional hosts.

One of the most unique experiences we have had. The property is unique to say the least. Staff helpful and accommodating. I was worried with the heat and no air conditioning but no worries at all. Windows on either side of the room allowed for the best sleep we have had so far on our trip. Our three course breakfast in the morning was absolutely superb. Steps and I mean steps away from all the sites you would want to see in Brugge. The views from our room overlooking the church and canal are indescribable. Fairytale magic. Book book book this wonderful B&B as soon as you can.

It was the best place I’ve ever slept other than my own home. It was beautiful and the view of the church was amazing. David and his family were magical hosts and the place lived up to the hype. If you’re going to complain because the bed wasn’t firm enough (or is too firm) or the water isn’t exactly the right temperature then stay in a Sheraton. BTW - I’m not saying we didn’t like the bed or the shower, just that the house is 400 years old. It’s like staying in a fairytale and fairytales don’t have a minibar (although our room did). My family of five loved it and they are not easy to please. I’d give it ten stars if I could.

매우 오래된 600년 ᆢ브뤼허의 메인 성당 바로 옆 역사적인 자리에서 하룻밤을 보냈다! 위치로는 최고의장소이며 주요 지역을 바로 갈수있는 최고의 위치다. 중세시대를 그대로느끼며 하룻밤 보낸것은 오래 기억에 남을 듯하다! 아침 조식은 화가인 데이비드 주인의 손길이 있는 예술적이 음식이었다 좋았다! 다음에 온다면 다시 예약할것이다!

The building has so much character. Owned by an artist who makes it feel like you are staying with your sweet foreign uncle. Each morning he creates a breakfast master piece. He generously shares his love of the city with his guests and created a special vegan delight for me each morning whilst ensuring I had enough protein for the day. The original gothic interior, the view and the artwork that decorates it, make this place a truly unique experience. We came with our two kids (10&6) who enjoyed being 'little princes' for the time. And they were accommodated well. I've never stayed anywhere better.

Delightful, old property in the middle of the old city. Walk everywhere. Very quiet at night. Loved our bed and the breakfasts were amazing. David and his daughter were very welcoming hosts.

We felt so welcome to this amazing place the moment we walked in the door. David is an incredible host and artist. His lovely daughter, who often served breakfast, was a pleasure. She was kind, intuitive and efficient. Daily 3 course breakfast in David’s art studio was a special treat. We spent the week on the top floor. It had the most unbelievable view. The bedroom seemed very authentic to the period with beautiful detail in the woodwork. The bathroom was nicely updated and was very usable.

We had the most wonderful stay. It was exquisite. Unbelievable how perfectly it has been preserved with 14th century stained glass and a view from a fairytale. We were welcomed warmly by David who is a gifted artist and the breakfast was fine dining. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect stay and we’re grateful he shared his gorgeous home. Don’t hesitate to book.

The house and rooms are very old and full of history and character. The service and breakfast is perfect. I particularly enjoyed watching the movie ‘In Brugge’ on the drop down projection screen with surround sound from the massive solid bed. If you like character, oak panelling and led glass windows then look no further.

Incrível. Localizada dentro de um complexo castelo em Bruges. Tem somente dois quartos o que faz com que o atendimento dos proprietários seja especial e único. Na sala do café da manhã, funciona o ateliê do artista David, que nós recebeu com gentileza e alegria.

A MUST Place to Stay!

Nuit Blanche is a fabulous place to stay. The host (David) is gracious, the breakfast is plentiful and beautifully served, the room is outstanding, the shower is warm, and the history of this 15th century building is amazing! Be aware that it is not handicapped accessible

A leap back in time with clever and respectful amenities. Possible, and probably the outstanding stay over a span of decades. My partner said the top floor view over a close also topped her life-list. We will return for a longer stay next fall.

Amazing property and stay! You really feel like you stepped back into medieval times, with all the comfort of modern amenities. The view could not be more picturesque, right next to the famous Boniface Bridge and the Church of Our Lady. The biggest “issue” is getting passed all the tourists taking pictures of the bridge, but the park is closed to the public at night so it is quiet at night. David is a great host, and the breakfast is delicious.
